How does everyone onramp to crypto currently? I buy crypto on Coinbase (euro to eth) and send it to my cold/hot wallets afterwards.

Is there an easier/cheaper/faster way to do this?

Buying it directly in Metamask looks very expensive.

Last thought, there will be another version of this designed for onramps in our @backpack mobile wallet. Our costs are about 3.1% from the network providers currently, and my plan is to add a small charge to at least give us a little bit of cashflow, but my goal is to get onramp costs as close to zero as possible

Using this link as a personal on-ramp is a hack from how it's been designed. This is link is part of a customer checkout flow for an IRL merchant of ours that settles in USDC but accepts payments in USD

Yeah it’s for a store in Sacramento and you would normally get this after hitting checkout on your cart

It only on-ramps you to USDC and most people don’t care about crypto so it doesn’t say anything about it 

But if you want to on-ramp at zero cost right now, this is a way I can offer you where $100 -> $100

My user feedback of looking at this page for a few minutes now:

1. cost of goods (what am I buying?)
2. tips take up most of the screen (I am from Belgium and don't do tips)
3. doesn't let me select any crypto to onramp to?
4. it asks me to login (annoying but can skip afterwards)
