Did @paragraph really remove token-gating entirely?? 

That was one of the main reasons I switched over from substack; the ability to integrate tokens from other membership platforms like @hypersub

honestly the main reason why we went to substack for the /lanparty Hypersub. i will continue to use Paragraph for my personal blog/musings, but for something scalable and gated it just wasn’t an option anymore

Is there any thought for @hypersub to enable upstream gating of files or webpages? 

Similar to how patreon enables downloads & exclusive video pages to members?

probably because hypersub competes with their current approach to monetization

But why are these primitives (subscriptions vs. JIT payments via mint) mutually exclusive?

Ideally creators would be able to use whatever economic tools they need in the moment 

If it’s a matter of rev share, could hypersub pay some bps to the point of origination (ie. Paragraph in this case)?

Why did you decide to sunset this feature @colin?
