Reuters has confirmed that the U.S. military is now arresting U.S. citizens. 

The marines are no longer a branch of the military deserving respect. They are now just another law enforcement agency who deserve our derision. When you violate your oath, you lose my respect.

technically the sec def can just rescind the dep of defense directive that extended posse comitatus to navy and marines and it would be legal. but idk if that happened cuz it doesn't need to be declared i dont think idk a lot of our institutions rely on good faith actors.

i mean there's wiggle room for technicalities etc but it's not as blatant as using not marines but it's all bad and basically unconstitutional and shitty and i imagine tomorrow is gonna be worse

Sure, but from an optics perspective, it’s fucking horrible. 

A lot of people hate law enforcement and reducing the military to the same level is absurd.
