classical police tactics, break stuff to be able to charge on protests and to allow mass media manipulation (here they have been caught multiple times sending covered agents to be the most violent protestors..) 

it is well known the quote that one of them told to othr police hitting him: "I am your mate, fuck" (soy compañero, coño)

that said, they are shooting at press and people too
