halfway there since I lost most hearing on my right ear a few years ago 😭 And being a musician you can understand my pain (yes, I had a band and still I have it “technically”) for more than 20 years)

Oh dang! Sorry to hear! My grandfather had the same thing as well as my cousin recently. Just randomly woke up like that. I can imagine that’s super hard! There must be a unique skill or way to embrace it, I imagine. That would be my approach, at least.
