I just saw a TikTok video and almost smashed my phone. I had to remind myself that I'll be at a loss. That app needs to be incinerated. Its whole existence shouldn't even be remembered. I prefer YouTube because not every dumb mfer can just wake up and upload sh** there. There are stupid videos there, though, but it's kept at a bare minimum. Funny thing is that the uncultured youths wouldn't even care to filter, they just take whatever they see there, as bare and filthy as it is — like I said “they just find clowns like themselves and fw them”. All good, though. The owner is making his dough and dumb are getting dumber. Fine and good.

Restaurants should save 1 reservation every night for an auction with a clearing price. Purely a reservation spot—you pay the normal bill. If doesn’t clear, give to waitlist. Split the upside with ownership and tips for staff.

Uniswap v4 feels like crypto's first complete product. Uniswap v3 was already nearly there, which is one reason why while previous versions took ~1 year, v4 took 4 years. I can see additional functionality (e.g. unified liquidity) and responding to infra changes (e.g. quantum-resistant zkVMs) that will justify a v5, but the core purpose of this application now feels complete for the foreseeable future. What's remaining is now on the governance & social end. Aave v4 is the next candidate for a complete product. Interestingly, the applications are hitting final form years ahead of the infra they're built on, and in cases like Aave v4, being intertwined with infra itself. (Side-note: of course, simple "products" like memecoins or USDT are "complete")
