just a heads up, I checked out this Dune query and looks like there's probably an error in the data here the query results are showing MAUs suddenly drop off from 209k to 84k

I don't see any abnormalities on my dashboard. What I see on the picture is, if I interpreted it well, that they calculate a MAU per month, and this month isn't closed. So, the 84k are the active users of the first 5 days. Btw, my figures are lower, but I only look at casts for active FIDs.

yes thats correct, they're starting MAU at 0 every new month and then getting the cumulative of that calendar month up to the current date that's fine if they were making a dashboard showing total users per calendar month, but its misleading to use it in a DAU/MAU ratio. it will always artificially inflate the ratio at the beginning of every new month, which is what's happening here
