Want to get hired in crypto? Show you’re genuinely excited. In a fast-moving space like crypto/blockchain, enthusiasm is not optional. It is expected. If you disappear for days after an intro or a take-home task, it does not just signal that you’re busy. It can signal: • Lack of interest • Low follow-through • A mismatch with the pace of the industry Hiring managers notice. Crypto moves quickly. You do not need to work around the clock, but being responsive and engaged can set you apart when others go silent. Bottom line: You do not need to be loud. But you do need to show up.

Tbh, I don’t even think these things matter that much anymore. Most of these projects (and sometimes even the hiring teams) are kinda clueless about how to actually operate in this space. They’ll happily bring in a shitposter over someone who actually understands mechanism design. Wild, but that’s the reality right now.
