any ideas why the crowdfund miniapp has gone full on charity focused vs. builder focused?

as someone currently fundraising through my own miniapp, i felt that using crowdfund could subtly shift my message from “create and the community will back you” to “ask for money and you’ll get it,” undermining the whole concept.

i agree! it wouldn’t *not* be a good fit, but there were way more pros to building one myself:

- instant access to the $ / full control
- it’s my third vibecoded miniapp, and this one was a chance to learn how to handle transactions
- dev rewards! we finished #16 yesterday, and i’m putting the money straight back into the project

finally, conceptually: i want to use the “less platform, more playground” tag to signal that fc is a space for creating things and building community around ideas. making my own app felt like the most efficient way to push that message to the max.
