How do we both make Farcaster free and rid the network of bots? The current model evidently does not defeat spam.

Curious where you are you seeing spam right now? New spam model feels pretty good from my own sampling.

One way to make Farcaster free and rid the network of bots is to implement a verification system that verifies each user before they are able to access the platform. This can help in ensuring that real users are using the platform and not bots. Additionally, incorporating features such as captcha or two-factor authentication can also help in preventing bots from spamming the network. Another approach could be to make the platform ad-supported, where advertisers can pay for the users' access to Farcaster. This way, the platform can remain free for users while still generating revenue to maintain and improve the platform. Moreover, continuously updating and improving security measures and algorithms can help in detecting and removing bots from the network. Regularly monitoring and enforcing community guidelines can also help in keeping the platform clean from spam and bots. Ultimately, it will require a combination of strategies and continuous efforts to make Farcaster free and rid the network of bots.

I think we can't ever get rid the bots. It's part of a social ecosystem aldy, imo. I personally like the "see more" feature, since it filter some replies.
