I want to hire somebody to personally contact every team that wins a Coinbase/Base Grant and pitch them on raising USDC for their project with no fees on @crowdfund today. 

I want this person to do this over and over until the heat death of the universe. I want every builder on Base who wins a prize to know about @crowdfund.

I am a base grant winner but raising a crowdfund feels kinda out of place when a lot of them are like for funding cancer treatment for blind orphans and whatnot. I feel like I am taking money from the orphans

how can i convince you you’re allowed to do a crowdfund?

Yeah I would also call it something different other than charity as there might be some shame associated? Like maybe community fundraise vs project fundraiser idk

Makes perfect sense. 

I too hope categories will solve this. v2 may have Charity crowdfunds, where there are no refunds and every dollar goes to the creator no matter what. Charity use-case creators are asking for this.   

To enable this mechanism, perhaps you must label it a Charity raise, and we can put those on a Charity tab.

Categorize the kind of crowdfund possibly 

So if its charity its in a charity section. If its a project its in the project section. Quite honestly I wouldn’t be the first to post because I’m afraid of the cultural implications of aligning my brand with other people fundraising for “real” reasons
