Here's my story about my foot, a kitten and my dog, Penny)
I got invited to my niece's birthday, out of the blue because they wanted to arrange the party 2 nights earlier
So I dashed over there and helped and although it was very fun and we had a blast, I tripped idk on what and my ankle strained
No I wasn't wearing high heels and no it didn't happen in the party and I wasn't dancing
I just was walking with my flat sandals on the way home at night
I got home and before I knew it, my foot started to swell but it didn't end here!
Just before I go to the clinic, I caught Penny chasing a very small black kitten in the yard, which idk where it came from
I hurried over to save the kitten (Penny was just following and barking, she didn't bite the kitten)
I wanted to pick the kitten by its back neck skin but the kitten's tooth punctured my finger's skin, it was very scared 💔
And that's not even the worst part
While I was taking it to put it in someplace safe, it died in my hands 😭😭😭😭
Idk if it was fright, the shock or maybe it had fallen off of the neighbours' wall or something (we have high walls around the houses here) but it was traumatic for me
It took its last breath in my hands 😭😭😭💔💔💔
I can't dig a hole in the dirt to bury it with this ankle, I'm waiting for my nephew to do it later tonight
And I need to go to another clinic for a Tetanus booster tomorrow because today is Friday (weekend) and the vaccination clinic is closed!!!! (Imagine that)
I'm sad, my ankle is better now, I limp everywhere trying to put less pressure on it
I keep seeing the kitten's scared eyes in my mind and it's heart-breaking
Idk where its mom is, I think it was a stray kitten, alone and scared... 15 replies
