3. Honestly, I find that upsetting. I don’t think that it’s people’s fault given the society we’ve set up to find external value in everything. But sometimes, nature can’t be quantified.

2. One of the things I talk about in the video is how we think about exploration as a very extractive process. I made a video on how these beautiful deep sea corals are being used for their anti-cancer properties. We explore the deep sea to mine it.

1. I’ll make a thread because why not. We’re letting species we’ve never discovered go extinct. There’s fundamentally something so sad about that. But it makes me think about our priorities as a society. This thing will probably be way out of order (and sad as a warning), but here goes😭

We have to find means to stop the extinction of these species . Your rays of reflection is beyond for many of thoughts

What measures do you think can be put in place to reduce this 

I know there are lots of regulations in terms of deforestation and wildlife preservation

Most definitely, I just have to wonder what we’re losing by causing species we don’t even know yo go extinct :( so glad it resonated

I had shivers when you said we are loosing species that we can't bring back 

Unintentionally or intentionally we contribute to making unnamed species endangered sometimes just for our own fun which is very saddening 

Massive destruction of land to for construction purposes 
Lot of human activities have contributed to this 

And it's really sad cause every organism matters and have their role in the ecosystem
