I see other people have already answered why your casts are getting deleted over replies! Your casts do get pruned from the protocol, but a few other people/companies are keeping full records of all casts throughout time. So they’re not lost forever in that sense! (PS just to clarify I don’t work for farcaster, we’re building our own farcaster client)

Okay so if I upgrade my storage will the casts come back?

No, the storage is just for the protocol. Once pruned, they’re not on the farcaster protocol and can’t be put back But on other clients that are keeping full records, they will still be there. Unsure if you can still interact with them actually, I’ve never tried 🤔

Okay I’ve explored and have returned with answers People can still interact with your content that has been pruned from the network first two images: end of your profile on farcaster versus /uno (we’re in beta) third and fourth images: my reply to your pruned content on farcaster versus uno the real q is, did you get notifications about this?

Never got a notification. At all. I just scrolled to the bottom of my posts and i only saw rhe right at the bottom. So did a friend. So i’m confused thanks for your help i bought more i don’t want to fuss it’s just sad I feel like i’m punished for giving my gratitude to people

ah I meant a notification about my engagement on your pruned cast! understand the frustration, if you didn’t get a notification about running out of storage it’s easy to forget or never know in the first place they’ll get pruned
