Anyone else record a 22 minute video after lying in bed for days thinking about how we’re messing up our planet? Just me? I’m choosing *not* to post this on Farcaster because it’s too depressing. You can comment if you want the link, but it’s on the dangers of ocean acidification that aren’t discussed.Beware

1) might make a thread further elaborating. I’ve had literally so much fun making these videos and I will continue to do so. Issue is, the topics I talk about can be very sad because of the impacts us humans are having on the environment 90+% of the tome it’s negative.

2) i’m never fully sure of what to share. I walk a fine line between educating people and depressing people. Because let’s be real. If you look too far into any of the topics I talk about, they can be very heavy.

3) it feels like in every video there’s SOME sort of morsel of indication of human factors influencing environmental destrcution. Die offs of fish with algal blooms, cats sending species extinct, animal agriculture changing the land use and accelerating climate change.

4) I do this out of the premise of educating others as to what our impacts are while trying to provide solutions we can individually take to stop the worst of these impacts. I think it’s nevessary to communicate. Educate people on the problem, share them the solution, maybe they’ll make a good change.
