Woohoo, this is officially my first science post from Base!!🥳🎉 Today, I talk about how scientists and architects are developing seawalls panels inspired my mangrove roots that can provide shelter to fish in manmade waterways!! I imagine adding real plants might be difficult because of their proximity to the wall.  I  still ask myself if one couldn't cultivate a living plant root environment there?

Yah, I think it would be harder to establish plants on a slab of concrete. This is sort of an in between, I’m assuming

Waterway engineering is well above my pay grade.  

Glad to hear that there are people actively caring about our collective impact on wildlife.
