One thing I don’t like is how institutionalized owning dogs has gotten. Shit went from “I found a random dog on the freeway and took it home” to “my spayed, adopted fur baby has health insurance” and it’s just… fucking stupid.

Got a feral cat ~2017 from a shelter. He was very nervous after being trapped and shaved (fur was heavily matted). 

First routine vet appointment they tried to put him on anti-depressants. I laughed in her face thinking it was a joke.

I opted out. Happy, chill cat today. Even travelled with him overseas.

We live in the same absurdity simulator. I argue with LLMs.
