One advantage to being a midwit:
If you don’t impulsively spend, then the times you need money are the times lots of others need money, due to life events that are regularly scheduled (tuition/graduations, mortgage payments due, etc). The times you are flush with cash are the same times the other retail will be flush with cash (year end bonuses, refunds, etc).

So if you have just enough braincells to anticipate when eveyone is poor and rich, it’s really damn easy to time local tops and bottoms.

But black swans will still destroy you so don’t fuck with leverage.
