How does one go about finding a mentor?

Seems to be an integral part of progression past a certain age

I’ve never had much luck here and hard to find genuine mentorship because I am cynical about others or how to manage it.

You’d need clarity on if it’s professional, lifestyle, philosophical advice you’re seeking and filter out the other bits as noise.

I've had the same experience. I'm so cynical, but that's probably cause I don't agree with how most people go about living their life.

So I basically just have to find influencers doing what I want to do to indirectly lead me.
