Oh, so everything was perfectly fine when Nounders had exclusive voting power, auction-free tokens, and a built-in veto. No complaints there. But the second some people started accumulating tokens through open auctions and had the audacity to think differently, suddenly the DAO was “captured.” If anything, the real capture happened on day one when a select few had all the power and a veto in their back pocket. So if you were cool with that, you should probably be cool with this too. And don’t start talking about trust in people. This is web3; trust no one. Instead of wasting time and money, or worse, kneeling to regulators, build trustless protocols. 🤷♂️
