Buying a new MacBook this week. 

Def doing M4. Was thinking 32 gb ram, 512 ssd should be more than enough 

Does anyone have strong opinions on the air vs pro? 

My current one is a pro I bought 6 years ago. Seems like there’s a “lightweight / aesthetic” argument to the air which might be worth thinking about

I had the m4 pro 16gb ram which did me wonders until the screen broke after 4 months. The laptops incredible, just be careful with how you handle it. 

If you can, perhaps consider applecare also
