"permissionless" addresses the first part of the og post the second part of the post is a different issue imo. yeah, nobody likes spam, but if you enjoy being a user of farcaster for example, would you be willing to get paid to share your positive experience with others? why not let users decide if that's an issue?

Would something like this work? You could add a condition to curate your follow list, like automatically unfollow someone if you haven't liked their content in the last two weeks

Hey, Nate from @vibraso.eth here, a web3 social project that started on Lens now expanding to Farcaster. Curious about the future of Farcaster, will it be the next 'internet town square' like Twitter, or perhaps a niche place like Bluesky? Or maybe Threads? (hopefully not). Will it be short-lived hype like friend.tech?
