So cute The fruit selection reminds me so much of my garden in sweden. Are those red currents?

This is my garden in France, the redcurrants have a bit of a tangy taste but they are super good 馃構

I bet the strawberries taste amazing!! In sweden, we would make vinb盲rssaft with the red currents, which is basically a syrup that you add to water to make a juice. The sugar really cuts the edge off lol, and also preserves it for a taste of summer after the sun tucks away for the winter

Yes! Heres the one I would use 2 Liter red currents 4 dl water 1 vanilla bean pod (just for flavor, you can improvise here. Sometimes I would put lemon) 6 dl sugar Rinse the berries, add them and the water to a pot. If you use the vanilla, take the seeds out and add those too. Add the pod also if you want. Bring to a boil then let it simmer for about 10 mins with a lid. Use the spoon to press the berries against the edge of the pot to get all of the juices out. Then strain it. And then add it back to the pot with the sugar. Let it boil for a few minutes and stir so that the sugar dissolves. Bottle it up and store in the fridge or in the earth cellar (lol we had one but it is old fashion for sure)
