Let's connect dots. If ETH is the only app on Ethereum that needs nation state level security then either 1) ETH wins the store of value game or; 2) Ethereum's security is way over provisioned All EF researchers should embrace the Blue-Money Gospel.

why would you want to compromise on security? to have a faster L1? today is the wrong framing. who knows what will be built on ethereum. security is probably the biggest reason why institutions want to build on ethereum. that's why the original rollup-centric roadmap was right.
