I’ve been pushing myself to use my phone less overall, and to use my computer more (mainly for productive tasks). The more I use my computer the more I remember that this is the more powerful, and in many ways, more interesting device. A keyboard, especially does so much so quickly. I find myself lately alternating between writing notes, practicing coding, and doing creative work (in Affinity Suite). With tools like Affinity, Raycast, Zen Browser, Obsidian, and VS Code, there’s so much you can do, so quickly with keyboard shortcuts. No amount of gestures can improve upon this. Now I find myself looking at tools like LazyVim and Hyprland/Yabai and it feels like the end game for how I feel computing (on a keyboard-linked device like laptop or desktop) should be. I’m going to dabble slowly, for fear of falling too far down that rabbit hole too fast but, from what I’ve seen so far, I kind of already know that I’m going to be *that* guy.

Oh neat. I am a vim lover but I work in cursor mostly lately (in vim mode obv). Dealing with Neovim configs just frustrates me at times. Honestly I'm glad I have AI cause I never know what to do with random treesitter errors and whatnot
