Here's a fun theoretical question for you Whether you're an artist or not Say you had to pick an art form right now - One you've never touched before - and commit to practicing and working with it everyday for 3 months. What medium or art form would you pick?

If it can be a variation of a current it would be lost wax ceramic shell bronze casting. I have only done sand casting so far. The levels of detail and patterns are unlimited with lost wax but I need so much equipment and space it’s just out of reach at the moment. Hopefully someday I can get there.

Yeah I've been talking about that process with some people recently. I have a lil secret project i was commissioned for... I'm probably going the more reusable casting way, with silicone or something. But doing the old fashioned way seems so satisfying.

You can use low temp melting point metals in silicone. Smooth on has some that works really well but bronze, silver and aluminum are so hot they just vaporize it and hot metal shoots everywhere
