Treated a new client today

She hurt her back and was in excruciating pain, could barely walk. Someone referred her to me and I said ok

I use what I call “dynamic pricing” which can be summed up by saying the less I know the person and the harder their problem will be to fix the more I charge

So I quoted this person in the upper bracket of my price range

Anyways she comes in in bad shape, very nice woman, and I spend about 2 hours with her (way more than normal) because she needed the help and I had the time

I was asking her if she had seen anyone else for this issue, etc, and if she had ever received bodywork before, she said no

And I was like wow ok that’s bold to come in for a session having no idea what this is about

And she said, and I quote, “I could barely walk and you came really highly recommended, and you were really expensive so I assumed it had to be worth it”

So yea, if you’re ever doubting yourself, charge more
