I created a no BS brain supplement with research-backed nootropics to improve cognitive performance Containing only natural ingredients with 0 added sugar, fillers, or additives Plus its caffeine free so you don’t have to worry about jitters, crashes, or sleep disturbance (although you can pair with you caffeine of choice for an extra boost) Our best pricing costs <$3 per packet, which isn’t cheap but is the lowest we could get it without sacrificing the quality of ingredients and the active compounds It’s 3rd party tested with publicly available test results on our website The perfect tool for those looking to increase mental output and efficiency without putting extra strain on their body Deep work, intensive projects, last minute deadlines. Focus+ is everything you wished adderall was: a natural, non-habit forming supplement to help you lock-in for your best work Try it at www.feelnoetic.com Sample packs available on our IG shop @feelnoetic

I talk about being active in your community because it’s something I believe in Just the basics of saying hello to people you see frequently, shopping small businesses, not living your day-to-day in isolation, taking walks without headphones in, going to local events, etc So I’m at my local farmers market every Saturday, and today I’m hanging out with my homie who sells banana bread there. Another vendor who I buy ginger juices from walks by and says wassup, he’s like “I didn’t know yall knew each other!” That’s my dude! Then a little bit later I see my tattoo artist walk by, who just recently moved to Miami. So I called her out to say hello, it was the second time I’ve seen her in a the past month or so, she’s like “wow I’m just seeing you everywhere!” Then I get home and get into my elevator with a woman who I chatted with briefly at the market, she’s renting a unit in my building for a month or so If you start being active in your community, really cool things can happen

My Spanish is continuing to improve Found myself in a room with a couple dudes watching the PGA championship who were all speaking Spanish, I followed a good amount of it and could comment in English to them Then on the way out of an event I was walking with a girl who I’d seen frequently at my gym Struck up an easy conversation with her all in Spanish, how I’d seen her around, where she’s from, how she liked the workouts, etc Then at the end I asked if she spoke any English and she said just a little, I realized then like damn if I didn’t speak Spanish the way I do I wouldn’t have been able to talk to her at all!! At the gym this week I was talking to someone in Spanish and a friend of mine was there and saw, afterwards she was like I didn’t know you spoke Spanish! It’s funny cause I never know what to say when someone asks if I speak Spanish. I definitely speak enough of it to be conversational but if I say yes don’t want them to think I’m fluent Not yet at least, but one day

Caffeine is such an interesting drug It’s got so many purported cognitively enhancing effects, but there has been so little delineation of the context of those effects both in research and in application For example: if you’re well rested, not sleep deprived, and consume a moderate amount of caffeine (~100mg) while having no previous tolerance (aka no caffeine in last 7-10 days)… you will absolutely experience both physical and mental performance benefits But - if you ARE sleep deprived, and are currently tolerant (say, daily consumer for past 10 days), even if you consume a significant amount (200mg+), you will become more alert but will probably NOT experience performance enhancing effects Those are completely different outcomes! And the outcome that yields no results is at double the dosage!!! It’s so important that if you’re consuming caffeine as a performance enhancer you learn the intricacies of its effects and your bodies response Social enjoyers do whatever you want lol

Once had a client who was an investor/VC type guy book a session via my online scheduling portal Miss the session Then ask for the next session free (to comp for his missed session) I said no Then he was like well can I do 1/2 off for the next one since I missed the last one? I said, also no lol You booked the session. You get confirmation emails. You missed it. Why would I give you one free? Anyways, I was telling this story to one of my clients, and he was like, you know - you’re the only trainer I know who doesn’t offer discounts. I said damn right I don’t. You buy 10 or 100 why would I discount it? He’s like well because it’s guaranteed. There’s value in that. I said maybe, for someone who isn’t valuable. But when you’re great at what you do people will pay whatever it takes. You still pay me even tho I didn’t offer you a discount He nods in agreement Moral of the story? Don’t devalue yourself because other people like to negotiate

I was at dinner with some wealthy Haitians who may or may not have acquired their money through unconventional means Anyways this guy is telling a story about how he was once in the country when he was placed on the equivalent of their Most Wanted list The entire military was looking for him and he was talking about how he had to bribe officers and soldiers to take him across the border to the DR, while being shot at, getting Molotov cocktails thrown at him, crawling through army tunnels to escape The story was absolutely nuts like straight out of a movie And the girls we were with were enamored, “omg was that scary!? What’d you do next??” And the whole time I’m sitting there thinking, holy fuck. You may think about how having guns and being in shootouts is cool, like it’s a badge of honor But to me that sounded absolutely awful. Through so many points he could have died. And this cool story turns into he’s an RIP Hope my life never gets to a point where I’m in a situation like that

Having a uniform for work is one of the highest EV things I’ve done I have 5 pairs of the same black shorts and like 8 pairs of the same black shirts that I wear to the gym when I’m training clients It’s easy, consistent, the fit is good so I look good, and I never have to think about it But one of the hidden benefits is when I’m wearing my uniform I’m in “work mode” If I’m working out myself personally I change my shirt into a colored shirt and it’s a clear signal that I’m “off the clock” This separation both helps me mentally create the environment shift but also signals to other people when I am or am not working And having that clear boundary is super important, especially because with my line of work it’s very easy to get dragged into working via giving advice all the time Highly recommend finding an outfit that fits well and using a basic set of rules as a uniform for when you are or are not working
