The more efficient your lifestyle, the less you need to “work out” As a professional trainer, this is my split: - 3-4 strength sessions per week, split into upper push/upper pull/legs/shoulders - 1-2 long distance road cycling per week, 30mi+ - 1 golf practice per week, ~2-3 hours short game & full swing - 1-2 rounds of golf per week Even that is kind of a lot. I added 1-2 strength sessions/week in the summer because business slows down a lot as people are traveling But what glues all this together is 1) nutrition. I eat a primarily whole food diet that’s dense with nutrients and stay far far away from most processed foods 2) my lifestyle is highly active, at the gym I’m on my feet most of the day, and if I’m cycling or golfing that’s just more energy expenditure You have to remember that workouts (exercise) really should only be accessory to an active lifestyle. If your sense of activity only involves structured exercise, You’re leaving a lot on the table

I usually get all my pants tailored because it’s an easy way to upgrade a fit, makes a huge difference A couple years ago I weighed 165 and built my wardrobe, I don’t shop very often so I haven’t bought pants in a while Only problem is I gained a ton of muscle and now I weigh 185, all those pants are pretty tight and make it look like I’m wearing skinny pants lmao Not a great look for me. My girl keeps making fun of me and clearly I’m getting bullied into buying new pants So legitimately just gonna go to the store and buy the exact same pairs of all the pants I have in a bigger size Then will go get the length tailored again Shoutout lululemon abc & commission pants in black, blue, and tan. It’s all you’ll ever need (And shoutout the 25% discount I get with them for being a fitness professional)
