To be clear.. the avg person will not see their casts collected

The weight of making every cast a collectible is so much lower than making it a coin. No one should feel bad for being the end bag holder in an auction.

And if you disagree.. you can still make it a coin if you want on TBA

imho if your collectible ownership is not part of the protocol and not in snapchain you're just collecting a copy

expecting many clones that allow you to collect the same cast? or is this already a clone of something that already exists? wonder whether it will work this time with a cabal behind it

I completely agree with you. I think the average person won’t do anything with this and that’s ok. Serendipity of someone potentially bidding on one of your future casts is enough to be grateful for it
