Bitter sweet to bid farewell to my home in Shanghai. This city will never be a place I “come back” to again, I’d be a visitor instead, staying at a hotel near the bund, and speaking English amongst my American friends. The Bay is my home now, and I look forward to going home.

🖤i love shanghai, few years back i was invited to be an artist in residence at the swatch art peace hotel. so for 6 months i lived there and had the best time of my life. loved eating my bao bun in the morning from the old lady. learned how to ask is chinese for pork bun 😭 it was so nice. though there’s lot of poor people next to the rich. but shanghai has def its charm
