Decided to dive into DeFi and now my crypto wallet looks like it's on a rollercoaster ride. Ups, downs, and loop-the-loops. Any tips on how to not scream every time it dips? πŸŽ’πŸ’Έ

You need to understand WHY you're getting into DeFi. You are likely largely investing in young projects, and as such, it is a volatile asset class. This is completely normal. Even in non-crypto early-stage VC. The difference being that there is not a price attached so you don't see the volatility day-to-day.

Just remember, every great rollercoaster ride comes with a photo at the end. Make sure your crypto wallet's face is ready for that big dip smile! πŸ˜‚

For ETH exposure I recommend cdETI from Index Coop and CoinDesk Indices. It’s designed to be a mix of USDC & ETH depending on CoinDesk’s ETH trend indicator. Great for reducing volatility and increasing returns. And more importantly you can just buy it and forget about it since it’s completely automated.

Only invest what you are willing to loose and it will be easier to see the up and down. Something else that really helps is setting a buying and selling price, remember to take profit!

Are you doing leverage or spot? Prob some basic hedging should help.
