Two /whiskey tastings: Booker's & Glen Moray / Cutty Sark. Major takeaways: 1. Little Book 2025 Chapter 9 slaps, it's lower proof (~101) than standard bookers (~124), but has a nice rye spice that I like & smooth like cognac. To be clear, I don't think "smooth" is a virtue, and perhaps it just tasted smooth by comparison after 4 Booker's, but it's rare to get that rye spice on a bourbon without the acidic sharpness that comes with rye. 2. Glen Moray, the best one is not pictured: Cutty Sark "Prohibition Edition" (not the standard one). Standard Cutty Sark is 60% grain, 40% malt. The Prohibition Style flips this (60% malt, 40% grain) and wow is it good. Other standouts: Glen Moray Chardonay Cask has a novel melon note I've haven't seen in a whiskey before. The 21 is also decadent and slightly higher proof (92.6) while the rest of the lineup is at 80.

Cutty Sark always makes me think of Murakami because he randomly mentions it a lot in his books. Have never tried
