Reading across here and X, and looking at the price action, I think sentiment is potentially near an all-time low for $DEGEN right now: - I believe in 🎩 for the reasons I cast about, but I am not delusional about the negative elements as well - I also think the right conditions are there for it 2 make a comeback

Look, I’m not even talking about Degen’s price (even though most tokens have seen some growth and Degen is still in the red). It just feels like Degen is really lost — like it’s been tossed aside somewhere and no one’s paying attention to it anymore. I feel like, just as Jacek said, it’s not really getting much support — neither from Farcaster nor from Base.

it definitely has been tossed aside by Farcaster and by Base, but the comms through this process with the community have also not been great. Needs a spark within the community to make it so they can't ignore it, which they clearly do want to (the above players)

I don't know if I would use the word 'intentionally' but I don't think it fits in with their roadmap Base is all-in Content Coins and Zora, Farcaster is basically joined at the hip to Base imo, so what use is Degen to them? well it seems to me like many are coming off and will likely stay off for some as tipping phases out but the next model is to capture a larger share of the internet, and has the ability to go parabolic imo without any reliance on the above parties
