Since Spam labels are now public, I’ve spent some time looking at things these accounts have in common vs accounts that don’t get labeled and this is my initial advice for people who’ve been labeled. 1. STOP sharing frames. If you didn’t build it, don’t share it. 2. Stop recasting. Instead, quote cast and spell out why you are sharing it. What makes this worthy of being shared? 3. Ensure 80% of your timeline is original content. Don’t steal it from the web, make something unique and genuine. It better to not cast at all than to cast slop. 4. Only reply to people in channels. If someone casts to their home feed and doesn’t follow you, don’t comment. 5. Stop tagging people. They don’t get notified of the tags anyway. It’s pointless to tag them.

Thanks for the tips, just one question? Is there a way for someone with a spam label to change it?

There is no official way out. You can contact the team, but it’s hard to get their attention. If they do investigate and your account looks spammy, they will probably never look again. So before anyone asks for a review, they should some time cleaning up their timeline and drastically changing their behavior. However, if you think an account is WRONGLY labeled aka they’ve never engaged in any of the above behavior and you would stake your personal reputation on them being an excellent caster you should tag someone on the Warpcast team and make the case as to why this person isn’t spam.
