3 years ago I was t-boned by a driver that ran a red light. As my airbags deployed and the car spun, I reached over to hold onto my dog. Time slowed down and my sole focus in those chaotic seconds was keeping him safe. Mama bear energy. I’ll never forget the look of fear on his face. By some miracle no one was injured. Every so often I reflect on the accident with deep gratitude it didn’t turn out worse. And with a humble reverence for how quickly mundane moments can turn terrifying due to factors largely out of my control.

Most vets and trainers will say the safest thing is to have them in a crate that’s secured in the vehicle

a crate won't have airbags tho... so makes me uncredeulous / uncomfortable but I guess you can overthink this and its all mostly luck on how it comes down to
