What a special Salad Powered day! 🥗 At 5 am local time, one of the most famous 100 mile trail races (Western States Endurance Race) started. I timed my Saturday training run to start at the same time, so I could listen to the live stream for a couple hours. So inspirational to see people running a hundred miles with almost 20,000 feet of elevation. And it looks like there may be a new course record of ~14 hours, as the race wraps up soon. Talk about nutrition! Then I made my way to the farm, where team members Cody and Roberto were wrapping up an amazing catering order for over 50 Polk County Master Gardeners🧑🌾 I shared my entrepreneurial story over lunch with the group, but I walked away even more inspired by just how many different ways everyone is making growing food a part of their lives.😊 Here’s to keeping things Salad Powered! -Clayton
