Controversial take here, but I do think TikTok/creator shops and patron subscriptions are better than the “have the internet gamble on my posts” model crypto is proposing right now. Under this model, you can get paid for actual citizen journalism, you aren’t getting paid for outing the astronomer CEO unless people are deranged to buy merch about it. I would be more excited about post coining if creator coins were tied to more utility (eg rev share).

I also agree, making money from LP or knowing when to sell your tokens isn't exactly the monetization most people want to do. While I think coining has its place,.why reinvent the wheel?
