By the way I say this with all due respect, but I find it repulsive when people think actual software engineering or computer science can be done by people with zero experience. In any other profession, this would be seen as ridiculous. No one for example would tell you to do your own dentistry, or be your own nutritionist. While I understand everyone can use a computer, I would expect reasonable people to understand when financial systems are involved or investment dollars are granted, people would at least want to pay more for skillsets and resumes of folks who have scaled actual companies before. If you want to start a company in technology, betting on people who have worked for technology companies would probably be smart. Wild idea. For some reason, a bunch of people believe skipping this with A.I. and sub junior coders will not incur expensive technical debt. I predict in a few months the investment dollars that were granted to these projects, will be handed right back to me to clean up and will buy me my next sailboat.

What about the hordes of developers who think they can build new economic models with software when they have zero experience with economics, besides managing a credit card?
