By blocking or inhibiting global stablecoins in any way, you are fundamentally restricting capital flows and reducing diversification by definition.

Community banks should be forced to compete on a global internet scale for yields, or they shouldn't exist. Regulations shouldn't be used to harm consumers just because community financial services want corporate welfare by forcing unsophisticated investors to bank with them and not on public blockchains.
