do likes and recasts from amps improve distribution on the feed? logically you’d think so but I see a lot of people using it and getting very limited engagement beyond the acquired likes/recasts it makes me wonder whether the algo is not “fooled” by a large one-time influx of engagement

gigbot you can buy the likes, recasts, follows for even cheaper the algo isn’t showing those accounts buying engagement, and therefore I think, yes, the algo has shifted from processing “viral” as an accumulation of vanity metrics in short time span

basically “buy a trending cast” no guarantee of interest or engagement

Yeah, logically it should help, engagement signals are engagement signals, right? but I’ve noticed the same thing. Some posts get a bunch of likes/recasts from Amps and still barely move beyond that circle. Makes me think the algo probably weighs organic engagement more heavily, or maybe it flags sudden spikes as inorganic

Have tried inflynce a few times and can’t say it’s had any impact algo/leaderboard-wise. Still useful if I want to send a message out to reach a wider audience like giveaways etc through recasts so it still has value. To be honest I’m actually glad it doesn’t impact leaderboards as buying your way up the board feels… slimy.
