dumb question: anyone have an idea of how runes will affect brc20s going forward once theyre a thing? will runes become the new btc token standard?

Runes technically better

But Brc20 has an incredible liquidity head start though, also massive support out of Asia 

It will be a competitive battle, but I think brc20 remains on top

imo runes is superior enough a tech and has enough hype that it will be the dominant fungible protocol on btc. 

i don't see brc20 going away but i also dont see new projects choosing to launch on brc20 over runes
