Bread isn’t the enemy….At least not real bread The kind made with just three ingredients: flour, water and salt. That’s it. But most of what we eat these days? That’s not bread anymore. It’s sugar filled, full of preservatives and loaded with stuff we don’t need all to make it last longer or taste “better” In Nigeria now the bread conversation has shifted to “which one is the sweetest” And that’s the problem We’re not eating bread. We’re eating cake pretending to be bread And the damage it’s doing to our bodies goes way deeper than we think I just miss when bread was simple and real Struggle bread over sweet bread any day

Damn not Nigeria too. We have a similar problem here in the USA. Too much sugar in the bread and in most products. We don’t have some alternatives like sourdough that the health community is pushing but at this point making your own bread is the right way to go depending on the country you are in.

Yeah dear, it’s a global sugar takeover…Feels like the only real control left is learning to make your own, if your setup and country allows it
