Macro bears cite delayed economic data and negative marginal news flow. But Trump’s tariffs have hit since February: 10% on China goods, 20% by March, 25% on steel, autos by April. And Trump says he might fly to China. That would be bigger news than the pause.

About $70 billion worth of $ETH, staked $ETH, and restaked $ETH is used as collateral in defi across Ethereum and Ethereum L2s. About $18 billion worth of $BTC in different wrappers is used for the same purpose. I don’t see $BTC eclipsing $ETH as defi collateral any time soon.
