When you say you were teaching an accent class. Do you meant for acting? Speaking with a Ukrainian accent? I noticed no one questioned your response by what exactly that means - an "accent" class.

I help Ukrainians who just moved to America. I help them to work on placement, melody and etc.

Oh, that makes sense. Speaking with an American accent then, or reducing their accent to be understood better. I automatically went to the acting idea since I know you do that. Also, I took acting classes when I lived in Canada and they teach people there to speak with an American accent. That was easy for me, of course. LOL But it was interesting to highlight the differences in pronunciation on some words. And my accent changed slightly after living there for a decade. I have a friend who has lived in several countries and her accent changes depending on where she lives (something I can actually notice). I think some people can have accents that morph while others stay the same. It's very interesting!
