When you lose something that you’ve had your entire life, you’ll do anything you can do to get it back. It’s fascinating how the mind pushes the body to limits it never thought it could reach, or it completely gives up. Desperation either turns into determination or depression. Your choice.

I’m not saying in all cases. Particularly the ones where you feel cornered and feel like there’s no way out but there is a chance.

We do grow out of some things. It may hurt to lose them, but also be good for us to move on without. Or some things just can’t be restored. Learning how to refocus your goals, time and effort on realistic things is also a good approach to life than struggling to hold on or get back things better lost.

If determination is your choice, the greatest trick you can play on yourself for motivation is to convince yourself how much of what you want is something that you've already lost.

It can also turn into revelation. For me it was the exact opposite of what you said…after I lost it, I did everything to keep it away from me. That moment was a turning point in my life 🙏🏼😁

It depends on the people! People can do so much if they think they can think beyond our limits!
