Yes definitely! She’s absolutely intending to come at this from a subversive, feminist angle. And for some women sure this can be empowering.

But the issue is that her music, her identity, her brand and image isn’t actually defying any “male gaze” centered norm. She’s trying to come across as a girls girl but it’s actually just a baseless provocative image that only strokes the continued objectification of women   Imo

Does she mention a feminist angle is intended in her work?

From my limited and very recent knowledge of her, seems like she just likes sexy stuff and it works for the betterment of her career. Typical ambitious person using their interests/talents to their goals. More agency in that process than a different generation
