I’m not sure if it’s real or not so I’m getting it authenticated, but I was able to cop a Nomos Ludwig for just $500. 😱

If it’s real, I might end up flipping it. I think I can take in a solid $1000+ for it. 

Conflicted because on one hand, it looks an awful lot like my IWC Portofino that I got as a gift for completing grad school. OTH, it’s such a steal at that price, and I don’t think I have any German watches.

I hear ya man…such a tough choice. I really do like it for so many reasons, but it style-wise it looks too similar to this one, and add the fact that I can flip for a nice margin.

I guess first thing first…wait for the watch to be authenticated (very iffy on why it got sold to me for so low).

I understand your conflict. Most people like the brand/watches because the similarities with IWC and it’s lower price. Germany/Glashütte has a 175 years of history in watchmaking. So for that it might be nice to keep if you like that. Personally I would flip it.
