Morning of July 24, 2025 in my Odesa started in the worst possible way.

For four hours during the night, russian drones relentlessly attacked the city - perhaps this is how they “prepare” for a ceasefire.

A neighboring 9-story residential building took a direct hit. 
Several floors were destroyed, fire was eventually contained, but the building is now unstable, it could collapse at any moment. 
People who were sleeping in their beds are dead.

They also struck Privoz Market - Odesa’s main food market and a cultural landmark. 
Now it's on fire. 
A lot of destruction

Primorsky Boulevard — the gem of Odesa, lined with beautiful chestnut trees and full of historic architecture (yes, even protected by UNESCO — another useless organization) - was also hit by drones. 
Now everything there is cut, disfigured by explosions.

And that's just what I’ve seen so far... Over 40 drones hit the city.

Standard night - explosions, fires, sirens of ambulances and firemen, the smell and taste of burning in my mouth...


Didn't get much sleep. today I’m in full Zombie mode. I have to pull myself together somehow, coffee doesn’t help anymore

Odesa. Night. A massive drone attack — over 40 Shaheds.
📍Widespread destruction across the city:
▪️A 9-story residential building — several upper floors destroyed, people pulled from the rubble.
▪️The iconic Pryvoz market — caught fire, partially destroyed.
▪️A kindergarten, private homes, offices, and gas infrastructure were hit.
▪️In the UNESCO-listed historic center — facades damaged, windows shattered, architectural heritage affected.
▪️There are injured civilians, some with shrapnel wounds.

And just now — Kharkiv.
❗Struck by glide bombs (KABs) in residential areas.
One landed near an apartment block, another hit a civilian enterprise. Dozens injured — including children.

There was also a POW exchange today.
And it’s not the first time — right after we welcome our people home, the cities are hit hard.
Coincidence? Maybe. But it happens too often to ignore.
