I’ve noticed that official government communications are now written in the style of Trump’s tweets with random capitalizations, grammatical errors etc. This is a communication to the Thai government on White House letterhead informing them about new tariffs. It has to be a new stage of imperial decline when the government and president are illiterate.

As a kid, I dreamed of being an archeologist. History fascinated me (still does). Digging up jungle temples and tombs sounded epic. At 13, I devoured Greek and Roman history books and chatted with my history teacher about it all. Basically, I was obsessed.
