80% discount on a model like o3 doesn’t make sense to me. I immediately had the same idea, that they’ve uber nerfed it. Could make sense since they also announced o3 pro, and are reallocating compute to that. Maybe some marketing driven lobotomy to make o3 pro shine even more on the evals
